You can verify my credentials by searching for my name on the BABCP CBT Register

Generally, yes. I find therapy is more effective when we meet weekly, at least initially as we get get to know each other and start to progress with therapy. We can review the frequency of sessions after a few weeks.
The duration of your therapy is a personal choice so this can vary a lot depending on your needs and preferences. Many of my clients complete therapy within 4-6 months while my other clients find therapy so valuable, they choose to have ongoing sessions for longer. Either way, I never assume you wish to continue so we'll have regular check ins and reviews of therapy along the way. Usually after our initial appointment I can give you an idea of whether I feel short-term or longer-term therapy will be more helpful for you.
